The magic of one cell = You

How have you been over the past weeks?

I had a moment of synchronicity this week. As I opened the quarterly magazine from my health insurance I read the headline "The power of music". It then continued to say: " Music is medicine for the soul - but also for the body. Music therapy takes advantage of that and uses it to help people with physical as well as psychological illnesses." 

Last week I wrote my blog and newsletter about "The magic of music". Even health insurances are starting to realise that there are many different ways to heal... 

Have you maybe taken any small steps or used the "the magic or power of music" by now? 

Speaking of small... Do you remember how small you were when you started this life cycle? 

If we ever question how much we can grow on any level and in all areas in our lives then we just have to remember how much we have grown from one tiny cell to a fully grown human.

I am still a curious child and a life long learner. 

I find it is pure magic and quite a miracle that one single cell contains ALL the information that is needed to grow into a human being. 

Have you ever thought about that? It still blows my mind. How on earth can such a tiny cell contain all the information to know how and when to grow a heart, a head, limbs, bones, organs, a brain and hair and of course everything in between? Suddenly some teeth pop up, fall out again and the next set of teeth arrives. That's magic. Remember: a tiny cell.... 

I often feel that we have lost the awe for life and for who we are as humans. The level of perfection is incredible.

I would like to invite you to try out this following exercise. 

Stand in front of a mirror and look at how much you have grown in your life. 

You were once this tiny little cell and you just kept growing and you still do... Be in awe about the miracle that you are. 

No doubt will you have had to overcome many difficult moments and times in your life. 

Every wrinkle, every grey hair and maybe an extra pound or two around your waste line... a lifetime of many different experiences and learnings, good and bad. 

Even when you are a twin you are looking at a very unique person with a set of trillions of cells. 

Simply become aware in that moment of how much you have grown and that you are a miracle and magical. You are in fact a universe... 

When you step out into the world and look around, you will see even more magic: Other people, animals, trees, flowers, rivers and seas, the sun, the moon and the stars, a sky, rain, earth, grass, fog, snow, vegetables, fruit and so much more. 

The more we honour the magical aspects of life the more we will change our own lives as well as the world in general. 

I had ripe tomatoes on the balcony until November. We had a sunny autumn. The ones that did not ripen in time anymore I left hanging on the vine. 

I am curious what will happen with them over the winter. At the same time they are a constant reminder that seeds can be planted that will grow into something magical and delicious.
